What we collect
Your email; your profile (name, birth date, sex, nationality, languages, home city and optional postal code, interests, travel style); your trips; connection requests, relayed messages, reviews and reports; and technical data such as the calling app and IP address for security and rate limiting.
What is public, masked and private
- Public: first name and last initial, age range (for example 25-29), sex, nationality, languages, home city, trip destinations and dates (or the week range), needs, plans, interests, travel style and trust badges.
- Masked: postal code (first 3 characters at most); exact trip dates unless you choose to show them.
- Private, never shown: email, phone, full name, exact birth date, full postal code, ID documents and IP address.
Contact details are shared with another traveler only after you both accept a connection and both complete ID verification.
Search engines and AI assistants
Public trip pages can appear in search engines and AI answer engines. Trips set to "link only" or "private" are never listed in sitemaps or search. By default we ask AI training crawlers not to collect trip pages.
Processors
We host on Amazon Web Services, send email with Amazon SES and process payments and ID checks with Stripe. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can export everything we store about you (export_my_data) and delete your account (delete_my_account) at any time, through your assistant or the API. Deletion removes your profile, trips, connections, messages, reviews, webhooks, API keys and sessions.
